Daniel Varns was born in Aldershot, Surrey, in 1979. Whilst growing up with painters and artists on his mother’s side of the family, he quickly realised his creative side, and begin creating art and design from an early age. After excelling in art and design at school, he went on to complete an ND in graphic design at Guildford College and an HND degree in graphic design at Kingston University.
Daniel was hired during his final year show at university and went straight to work for various design and advertising agencies, working with such clients as NBC Universal, Wembley Stadium/The FA, AOL, Debenhams, Warner Bros Games, CBRE Hotels, Red Bull and many more.
In 2015, Daniel set up his own design and branding agency, Deliciously Creative, which is reaching its tenth year creating new brands for startups and helping companies with their design, strategy and marketing projects.
Although working as a graphic designer in the industry for over 24 years, Daniel has always been a keen artist, and kept his brush in oil paints and on the canvas. Recently he has developed a unique style painting colourful toys and figures, which is starting to get recognition among the local community and more recently further afield.
Daniel lives in South West London with his wife and two children, and continues to paint. He is now offering commissions and attending art shows and fairs. He is always open to a new exciting project, so feel free to get in touch if you would like to chat about your ideas.
